Adriana Glusman

Clinical Psychologist

I have worked with children, adolescents and adults for more than 20 years (and I still love my job!).

In addition to private practice, I have worked in a range of clinical, educational and counselling settings, such as hospitals, mental health services, and schools.

I specialise in autism and psycho-educational assessments and have done comprehensive specialised training in this area. I have also completed specialist training in EMDR, CBT, ACT, Schema Based Therapy, Family Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

I have been a lecturer at Macquarie and Western Sydney Universities in the Masters in Clinical and Masters in Professional Psychology. I am also a Board Approved Supervisor of Provisionally Registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars.

In my practice I am passionate about finding creative and respectful ways of working with you to find a shared ​understanding of what the matter really is and what to do about it so you can live your life in a way that is consistent with your values, hopes and dreams.

When I am not working I live in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with my family.

My Approach & Values


When working with children and adolescents we use evidence-based approaches as well as information from parents, teachers and referring doctors in order to establish clear intervention plans.

We also see adults with a range of psychological and emotional concerns, either individually or in the context of relationship/couples counselling.

Whatever your goals and needs are, our objective is to work with you and your family to find solutions to your problems and make positive changes for the future in a warm, safe, and confidential environment.

My Experience

  • Over 20 years working in hospitals, schools and private practice
  • Supervised over 100 provisional and fully registered psychologists individually and in groups
  • Lectured at Macquarie and Western Sydney universities

  • Masters in Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University, Sydney
  • Specialised training in evidence-based approaches for the assessment and treatment of individuals, families and couples
  • Training to become a registered supervisor for the Psychology Board of Australia
